THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS, you guys. Someone stop this press tour right now (Read: Keep it going forever). He’s everywhere.

Last night on The Bachelorette, JP (who broke your heart?) took Ashley to HOT SKATES in Long Island and my roommate, Jackie, lost her shit. Apparently, that was the skating rink that she always went to as a child. HERE’S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: It’s still open for business even with those broken disco balls that we saw on the show. Pretty much having my next birthday party there, you guys.

You so punny.
- Me: knitting club should start soon but I can’t commit to anything for like 2 weeks :( I’m bogged down here and traveling starting this Friday until Nov. 7th. Let’s say the club starts on Nov. 8th?
- Beth: Dang! Nov. 8 sounds good.
- Me: I know. My life is unmanageable.
- Beth: At least it gives me more time to get my knit together
- Me: hahahaha

Reasons I’m Lucky
Wednesday: MiaOh, where to begin with this one? Over the course of the past 5 or 6 years, Mia has become way more than just my best friend, she and her family are a part of my family. We went to high school together, but weren’t really “friends” back then. My sister, Kristin, dated her brother for 7 or so years and during that time Mia and Kristin became close… that’s kind of how it all happened. When Kristin and Mia’s brother broke up, we kept Mia. And when I say “we,” I mean my whole family. If she is home from school and Grandma Josie knows about it, Gram makes her a special batch of chicken cutlets because those are her fave.
Anyway, here’s the gist of it: this lady is one of the smartest, funniest, most caring people I know. She makes me proud and always inspires me to be a better person. Next year, she’ll finish work on her doctorate and become Dr. Mia and I will cry like a baby. She was in New York the night my Mom passed away (we were out to dinner with Katie and Marcia) and I would have been an utter disaster had she not been. I was extremely lucky that she (and those other ladies) were there. In fact, I’m just lucky in general that she’s in my life.
Mia and I have had many adventures and I’m looking forward to our next one: RALLY TO RESTORE SANITY. AND I’m going to stop here because she told me to keep “Mia Wednesday” short and sweet (this is already not short and very rambly) because she knows I love her and she’s right :)
